On Tuesday, amid the height of the rallies over the hijab ban in Karnataka colleges, one photograph stuck out. In Mandya, a hijab-wearing schoolgirl stood up to a bunch of lads wearing saffron shawls. When the lads mocked her for wearing a headscarf, the female student challenged them.

Later, the girl student claimed that "outsiders" were to fault for causing difficulties and that her classmates and administrators at Mandya's PES College had backed her.

Now, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, one of the country's largest Islamic organisations, has declared a Rs 5 lakh prize for the girl student who sang 'Allah-u-Akbar' while wearing the hijab at a Karnataka college.

The Jamiat stated in a tweet that Bibi Muskan Khan had stood up for her constitutional and religious rights despite fierce demonstrations.

In the midst of continuous violent protests against the hijab ban in Karnataka colleges, the extreme Islamic organisation Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has sparked outrage by offering a prize to a Burqa-clad protestor who screamed aggressive "Allahu Akbar" shouts at a group of Hindu students.

Bibi Muskan Khan's video of herself yelling "Allahu Akbar" to a bunch of students at PES College in Mandya, Karnataka, went viral on Tuesday. Muskan Khan's antics were directed at the students who were demonstrating against Muslim pupils wearing Hijab and Burqa on Tuesday. In reaction to Islamic chants yelled on the PES college campus, Hindu students sang "Jai Shree Ram."

Bibi Muskan Khan subsequently stated that "outsiders" bothered her and that her classmates and administrators at Mandya's PES College backed her.

A day later, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has added gasoline to the fire by proposing a Rs 5 lakh cash prize for Muskan Khan for yelling "Allahu-Akbar" while wearing the burqa during the rallies.

The Deoband-based Islamic organisation said in a tweet that Bibi Muskan Khan had stood up for her constitutional and religious rights despite fierce demonstrations.
The hijab debate has become violent, with Muslims pelting stones at Hindu pupils.

The uniform standards at educational institutions in Karnataka have now taken a hazardous turn when a few Muslim students refused to obey the norms and insisted on wearing Hijab inside educational institutions. In reaction, Hindu students began donning Saffron shawls, causing authorities to prohibit both attire.

However, the Muslim pupils have dared to demonstrate outside against the authorities, jeopardising the futures of numerous other students in the school. The burqa controversy took a nasty turn on Tuesday, with reports of stone-pelting and violence from around the state. While the media uses the term 'Hijab,' which refers to a headscarf, most Muslim students are observed wearing Burqas, which are full-body veils.

According to Yashpal Suvarna, Vice President of the Institution Development Committee, despite the fact that the college has 150 Muslim students, none of them have made this demand. According to him, eight females, purportedly from CFI, tried to stir up trouble.

Meanwhile, Karnataka's Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh has stated that the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political branch of the PFI, is suspected of influencing the Muslim students in the present Hijab debate.

Stone-pelting has been recorded in Shivamogga, Bagalkot, Udupi, and other districts of Karnataka, according to videos that have gone popular on social media sites. In one video, a Muslim mob was allegedly hurling stones at the protesting Hindu students, injuring many. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai ordered the closure of all high schools and institutions in the state for the next three days, anticipating additional unrest.

Previously, a research showed how the renowned radical Islamic organisation Campus Front of India (CFI) — the student arm of Popular Front of India and outlawed radical terror outfit Jamaat-e-Islam Hind – advised Muslim students to orchestrate the Karnataka Hijab dispute.
