Nitish Kumar Was Assaulted By A Man During A Hometown Function

 A security breach occurred, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar was assaulted by a local youth in Bakhtiyarpur close to Patna. According to police, the suspect was found to have hit on the shoulder of the CM as he offered flowers for the monument of the freedom fighter. The youth was detained. The footage show the suspect jogging toward the stage where Nitish Kumar had been. He grabbed his right arm of CM from behind and slapped his shoulder, before being immediately removed by security officials. It is the Bihar CM, who has been moving about in his Lok Sabha constituencies of Barh (which is no longer in existence after designation) and Nalanda that he has represented five times, traveled through more than a dozen villages in Bakhtiyarpur that was an earlier part of the Barh Lok Sabha seat. Bakhtiyarpur is the home town of Nitish Kumar. The incident took place couple of hundred yards from the house of the paternal family of the CM at the time the CM was offering flowers in celebrations

Murdered Odisha cameraman's employer is on the off; ex-bureaucrat convicted

  Two weeks after the body of cameraman Manas Swain's remains were discovered in the state of Odisha's Nayagarh district, police arrested retired bureaucrat, Niranjan Sethi, for allegedly having been involved in the kidnapping as well as the murder of the photographer. Niranjan Sethi is former director of the Information and Public Relation Department, Government of Odisha.
